Oceanside from the early 2000s

Here are a few black and white photos of Oceanside (the Pier, the beach and Mission San Luis Rey) back in the early 2000s. I must have taken this with the Ilford Chromogenic XP-2 film, which is black and white film but has to be developed in color chemistry. That is the only reason I would have dropped it off at the pharmacy, because if I were using black and white film, I could easily (and cheaply) develop it myself. When I look at these photos, they just fill me with sadness. I should have spend more time with my Tía Socorro while she was still alive. Also, I should have spent more time trying my hand at "real" photography, not model photography.
