One more from the UCR Botanic garden. On the lower left you can see a shadow. That is my camera, and me holding a film slide to cover the opening of the film holder to try to shield it from the sun. The red filter, in my opinion, is a waste. It does not darken the skies at all. If it is dark in the corners that is vignetting from the lens, not the effect of a red 25A filter. I wonder if my filter is optical quality. It is a Cokin filter I bought used.
