Blossoms at the garden, with different settings

Here is an image from the Japanese Garden in Balboa Park, taken during my "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" trip on March 9th, 2021. The image was taken towards the end, when light was faltering as we hit late afternoon. Most of the area in that canyon was in shadow, but I thought I could capture the leaves. I think I should have opened up the aperture more, because I could not lower the shutter speed without risking blur.

The first scan was taken with normal settings.

This second scan was taken with backlight correction (which brightens it greatly) as well as color correction. Something seems wrong with the color correction, but it still came out better than the original scan.
